On April 5th, 2011, LG announced that their powerful dual-core Optimus 2X and Optimus Black will soon be making their way into the Indian market. LG has revealed on their Facebook page that the LG Optimus One could possibly be getting a Gingerbread update this Spring. The exact date is subject to change, but it is planned for the update to be available in the Android Market by the end of May. Although past LG updates could be made by users themselves, there may be issues with the Gingerbread so the way of updating will likely change this time. More »

You would be forgiven in thinking that apart from Verizon’s “first” 4G phone has been making progress from initial announcement to the goal of reality. Now, the LG Revolution has surpassed the FCC and we now do not have a very clear picture in our minds. At the CES, it was presented, but was not officially announced. From until now, nothing has changed, and it’s passed the FCC. A 4.3 inch display and a 1GHz processor are featured. Verizon showed their interest in moving over to voice-over-data for calls taken place on their network. There are some 4G devices coming out soon, but they won’t have this function. Only the LG Revolution will be the one having VoLTE (Voice over LTE) in Verizon’s lineup of phones. More »
