If you are a user of HTC Desire, make sure to visit the store by end of July and update your phone! For a period of time, the Desire was not able to update its system to Android 2.3 Gingerbread because of the lack of memory. But finally, complaints have been recognized, and HTC announced that the phone should be ready for the update sometime at the end of July. More »

The HTC Desire is probably going to be getting rid of some apps when it switches over to a Gingerbread update, but it seems like all apps will be saying bye. First, HTC said that memory issues would cause Gingerbread to not work and threw away the idea, but now they are entertaining the idea of having Gingerbread on the Desire. More »

HTC has released a software update to their popular sync client, which allows you to sync data between your phone and computer or laptop. They have recently updated to a version that supports those who are using the Desire S and Incredible S smartphone. You can now transfer music, videos, documents, and photos easily, along with your bookmarks and contact list. You also have the ability to install Android apps from the syncing program when you connect it to a PC. It’s kind of like iTunes or an Active Sync program. More »

It has recently been confirmed by HTC that the Desire Z, Desire HD, Desire, and Incredible S will be getting Gingerbread with a promised Q2 release.
