From Ziggytek: Make it “Photo and Video of the Day.” What you are staring at is rumored to be Google’s Android 2.2 “Froyo” operating system running on a Nexus One. One of the benefits (or blights, depending on your allegiances) of Google’s next smartphone OS is that Adobe Flash 10.1 is integrated. If this clip is genuine and is not simply a modified Android 2.1 or earlier ROM (I am not cognizant of an existing Android ROM that can run full Flash this well), then Ryan Stewart, the video’s uploader and self-professed Adobe “evangelist,” makes a cogent argument for Flash and Froyo. Adobe declares that Flash 10.1 will be previewed at Google I/O in May, and that the public can look for a working release in June…but only if you have an ARMv7 or faster Android 2.1 smartphone, so most of us are out of luck. More »
