In my estimation, the prettiest Android smartphone on the planet, the aluminum unibody HTC Legend has passed through the FCC’s procedural and is going to Canadian GSM carriers: either Rogers or Bell Mobility. For Americans, AT&T has scored the Legend. More »

From Ziggytek: After a few days delay, the LG Ally Android 2.1 smartphone (which has a meager 3.2, not 5-megapixel camera as formerly supposed!) and Iron Man 2 promotional website is complete and open for surfers to explore. Are you pumped for one of the biggest summer blockbuster flicks of the year? More »

From Ziggytek: One of my pet-peeves is the misuse of terms like “knock-off” and “fake” to describe something that is merely a lookalike. Zenithink’s iPad “clone” is the latter, although it has widely been misrepresented as the former. While their names are uninspiring, their capabilities are spectacular. Both have 3.5″ (800×480) LCD displays (NOT AMOLED, as previously stated), 1GHz Snapdragon processors, 5 megapixel cameras, and DMB tuners. Sadly, the LU2300 ships with Android 1.6 only but will be upgraded to 2.1 in August, whereas the SU950/KU9500 runs Eclair 2.1. More »

…and it is sound advice because no one, in his/her right mind, on Verizon would choose the Nexus One over the Droid Incredible, unless the former is meaningfully cheaper. In some glad tidings, Verizon is throwing in a free 2Gb microSD card with the Droid Incredible. More »
