Google has announced that they have closed the Android Market developer support forums on August 22. The forum is now a dedicated place for user issues and discussion only, which is quite an unwanted news to developers who have used the forums to report issues with the market as well as seek assistance from each other. Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has recently posted their record sales in July, reaching $1.56 billion, which is almost twice the number they hit in July of last year. With this success, the company has also announced their plans to acquire Seattle-based cloud services company Dashwire for $18.5 million. More »


Several developers have been complaining on Android Market forum that a decent amount of their app ratings are missing from the Android Market. Many of the developers have lost more than half of the ratings, which obviously can effect the overall rating, especially if they lost many 5 star ratings. More »
