Samsung’s appropriation of its Super-AMOLED screens can be explained by the number of Galaxy S launches worldwide. Now, there might be one more reason for the shortage: in September, the Korean electronics mega corporation is supposedly going to release a BlackBerry challenger with FroYo, a full QWERTY keypad, 3-inch Super-AMOLED display, and the same Hummingbird CPU found in the bigger Galaxy. This is one sick ROM for the sexy HTC HD2 –in addition to Android 2.2 FroYo, it has 2.1 Eclair with Sense UI as well, so users can pick whichever they fancy. Aside from a few inevitable bugs, the ROM is stable and fast. More »

Most of you could care less what South Koreans are getting, but many North Americans will buy some version of the Samsung Galaxy S, which is hitting every carrier under the sky.
