From Ziggytek: One of my pet-peeves is the misuse of terms like “knock-off” and “fake” to describe something that is merely a lookalike. Zenithink’s iPadclone” is the latter, although it has widely been misrepresented as the former. Backed by premium features such as Android Eclair 2.1 (no outmoded Donut or Cupcake!) and 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, the Zenithink tablet might be good and could go for under $300. More »

Adobe declares that Flash 10.1 will be previewed at Google I/O in May, and that the public can look for a working release in June…but only if you have an ARMv7 or faster Android 2.1 smartphone, so most of us are out of luck. More »


Yesterday’s BGR rumor has been ratified. Verizon is indeed getting an LG smartphone that runs Android 2.1, has a 5-megapixel camera, and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, but it is not named the “Aloha.” More »
