It’s been awhile since Panasonic last released some exciting stuff, but here they are with the new ELUGA, which is one of the main devices spotted at Mobile World Congress. Despite the fact that it is confirmed to be available outside of Japan, that is where the device will be selling - for now.

NTT DoCoMo has announced that the phone will be up for grabs officially on March 29th as the NEXT series P-04D. And as a refresher, the mobile carries a waterproof, dustproof body, featuring a 4.3-inch OLED screen with a qHD resolution, a 1Ghz dual-core TI OMAP processor, as well as Android Gingerbread with a promise of Ice Cream Sandwich.

The phone is set to be released in Europe some time in April, though no word on arriving at North America.

Sometimes, I like phones that aren’t made or released in the U.S. first. They just have nice designs.
