According to Business Insider, HTC may have bought music subscription service MOG. The small music service has struggled to compete with Spotify that has been getting a lot of attention since its U.S. launch last year.

Lately there have been rumors that the service was up for sale and HTC was rumored to launch its own music subscription service on its handsets, so this acquisition makes quite sense.

MOG’s service includes an Android app that lets users listen to music on demand.
