We always hear about how Android are dominating on the mobile operating system front with their array of sweet flavors, but now StatCounter say they’ve gone on to earn the title of most popular mobile browser with 22.67% users whilst Opera have a figure of 21.7%.

Android’s feat is not surprising considering their 850,000 activations a day. The news that Chrome will soon be joining Android can only be good news. iPhone, Nokia, and Blackberry claim the next most popular spots, with iPhone scoring 21.06% and the rest of the browsers lagging far behind.

As we can see from the graph, quite a number are working with third party browsers. I’m not surprised about this news as Android always get stronger and stronger, how about you?

I’m not surprised that Android is climbing up against competition as well. ^^
