Google recently made a deal with Motorola and bought the Motorola Mobility department approved by both the US and EU. Though the deal has been approved, it had been stated that both companies would remain completely separate from each other.
Google’s Andy Rubin expressed, “I don’t even know anything about their products, I haven’t seen anything.” Rubin also states that there will be no favouritism between manufacturers. This shows that Google has “litterally built a firewall” between the two companies.
A very interesting deal between Google and Motorola having both companies be separated from each other. It will be interesting how well this concept works.
