LG is quite popular in South Korea for its Optimus LTE line, which is probably why the company has once again announced a new handset for those South Korea fans titled the Optimus LTE Tag.

The 4.3-inch device features a a 1.2 GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM and a WVGA (480×800) IPS display, 4G LTE and NFC connectivity, a 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front-facer. It will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread with LG’s Optimus UI, while Ice Cream Sandwich will be arriving in the near future.

A note-worthy point is that the NFC has developed a technology called LG Tag+ that lets users change the phone’s usage according to the user’s needs. Pretty neat idea, but for now, only the Koreans get to feel it.
