Hey yo guys! Get your visually impaired friends to try this out. A recent app called the BrailleTouch is developed to help the blind communicate with others through their devices.

Developed by Georgia Tech, the open-source app features 6 button set-up that allows “eyes-free texting” to happen. The app basically reads out the letters and symbols of the English alphabet while users type. And the best part is, it can type pretty darn fast, as high as a speed of 32 wpm, with an accuracy of 92%.

The app is currently available for iOS devices, though the Android version can be seen in the near future real soon. Personally, I’m super excited for its arrival. What’s your thought?
