According to a roadmap by Fujitsu, the company will be releasing two new Android tablets this year. The ‘Mainstream Android Media Tablet’ is expected to be released in June 2012, hopefully with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, while the ‘New detachable Performance Slate’ will come in September 2012.

The detachable slate will likely be a hybrid tablet like the ASUS Transformer and Lenovo S2, and it will probably be powered by a quad-core processor such as the NVIDIA Tegra 3. It is unknown which operating system will run on the tablet, but it could as well run both Android and Windows 7.

Now I’m excited to see what Fujitsu has up its sleeve!
