Sony Ericsson have formed a a “global strategic alliance” with Billabong which will see a Billabong edition of the Xperia Active being launched. The smartphone will come ready with exclusive content such as Billabong screensavers, games and apps and will feature at a number of “major” Billabong events.

The handset is being dubbed as the “ideal smartphone for extreme sports enthusiasts.” It boasts the same specifications as the Xperia Active device which was launched back last June: a single-core 1GHz processor, Android Gingerbread, a 3-inch Reality display and a 5 megapixel camera.
