The governemnt and military of the United States have been looking for some kind of smartphone devices that would satisfy their needs, and recently, looks like Android has qualified and made it through the cut.
Why not iOS instead you ask? Well, the reason is simple: the US gov and military need an OS that is customizable to meet their needs so that all the datas and all going in and out the devices remain secure. However, Apple refused to give our the source code, therefore basically gave the opportunity completely to Android OS.
The handsets are expected by the end of this year. I wonder which phones will be the lucky winners.
