AT&T to bring new data plans next week

Starting on January 22nd, AT&T will be bringing some new data plans to the table for its users. Some could be a raise in the cost, but some are there for users who need a greater data.

The plans are for both smartphone users as well as tablets. Customers will be able to choose between the existing plans, or switch to the newer ones. On goes the details:

Smartphone plans

* AT&T Data Plus 300MB: $20 for 300MB
* AT&T Data Pro 3GB: $30 for 3GB
* AT&T Data Pro 5GB: $50 for 5GB, with mobile hotspot / tethering

Tablet plans

* AT&T DataConnect 3GB: $30 for 3GB
* AT&T DataConnect 5GB: $50 for 5GB
