While Android smartphones these days compete to have the latest features, best operating system, coolest apps, fastest speed, and sickest designs, battery life has always been a big factor to users’ picks towards the devices. And our Korean giant is determined to make some changes.

Samsung plans on improving battery life by changing the way our smartphones function, such as optimizing the way they seach for WiFi, as well as more efficient 4G LTE management. Samsung is known for its thin devices, and that’s something they’re still willing to keep. The challenge right now for them is to make devices last longer than one day, and it’s looking good already with the Galaxy Nexus.

Looks like an alive-battery future won’t be far.
