Ford has shown off the latest update of its Sync vehicle Android integration at the recent CES 2012. With the latest version, the in-car infotainment system integrates with Android devices as well as BlackBerry and iPhone to allow a driver to control apps on the device. Drivers can give commands by voice, steering wheel controls, as well as through the center stack and touchscreen.
Sync is powered by Microsoft’s Windows Embedded Automotive operating system and has already been leading the in-car media market for a few years. Check out this video to see Sync in action.
