HzO recently showed off their new WaterBlock coating at the CES 2012. The new thin coating prevents water from coming in contact with electronics and their important parts, making them completely water resistant. Thanks to HzO, Android devices are absolutely fine after being dropped in water with no damage whatsoever.
However, the special coating cannot be purchased separately to add to an existing device and has to be applied during the device’s production. It also seems that there aren’t any devices currently available with the newest addition. Hopefully, the coating will begin to be installed onto the newer devices after the CES 2012. In the meantime, check out the video below to see how WaterBlock actually works!
