Acer has announced that it will unveil its next-generation Iconia Tab at the upcoming CES 2012. The Android-based tablet will be powered by NVDIA’s quad-core Tegra 3 processor. It sports a native 1080p display and a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200, presumably with a 10.1-inch panel. With these specifications, Acer will release the first Android tablet with a full HD display.

Unfortunately its pricing and the release date are still unknown, so stay tuned for the details.
