Rumors suggest that Microsoft is planning on expanding their Xbox Live to multiple mobile OS (yay!), and that means something outside the box, like iOS and Android. The idea is supported by more and more evidence as job listings are looking for game developers.
Microsoft used to speak loud and proud about its Windows Phone 7 OS, which offers the true Xobx Live integration exclusively, which means that the expansion may cause the OS to lose that privilege. However, judging by the market trend right now, it’s a smart move for Microsoft since expanding to Android is the only way it will be able to stand still in the market.
Though all are still uncertain, Xbox Live on Android sure is exciting.
