Samsung is offering an affordable version of its Galaxy S II flagship, the Galaxy M. It comes with a 4-inch Super AMOLED display instead of Super Clear LCD found on the Galaxy R and it is powered by a single-core 1GHz processor instead of the dual-core Tegra 2. Furthermore, the phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and it features a 3-megapixel camera, while the Galaxy R sports a 5-megapixel one.
The new Galaxy M is already available in Korea for around $500, though it is unknown whether it will be released outside Korea as well.
