Samsung’s sales forecast has been raised by 15% by Korea Economic Daily. This would signal that total projected handset sales would be brought up to 374 million. 150 million of them would be expected to be smartphones.

300 million units were estimated to have been shipped this year by Samsung. So next year, the selling of 150 million smartphones should not be hard, especially with the announcement and release of the Galaxy S3 lineup.

It would be intriguing to see how many Android handsets of the project 150 million smartphones to be sold next year would be included. I for one am very excited for what lies ahead for Samsung in the coming year.
