A day later after users of the LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus received their update, GSM version owners can breath easy that they’ll be able to pick up their Android 4.0.2 update today.
The 8.7MB update is suppose to bring the Galaxy Nexus’ firmware build to ICL53F, which will be taking care of some “important bug fixes” that will make everything run a bit smoother.
Though look out for the next update, Android 4.0.3, which Google has already announced that they’ll be rolling out sometime in the coming weeks. The update is going to take over as the new “base” version of Ice Cream Sandwich that the Galaxy Nexus has right now.
Sounds good!
