That’s right! Can you believe it’s already been 2 years since Angry Birds exploded onto the mobile scene and captured everyone’s hearts with their physics-based puzzle challenges? So with over 500 million downloads, Rovio wanted to do something special to celebrate this 2nd “Birdday.”

And what better way than with a new update! There’s going to be 15 completely new birthday-themed levels rolling out soon and with that, new achievements for you overachievers wanting 100%. Additionally, this new Birdday update is also going to fully unlock all the original levels, so players can go back to play old favorites or skip ahead past ones they were stuck on.

Look out for the update to hit the Android Market sometime next week.
