Finally! From a morning announcement yesterday, both Logitech and Google have come out to officially announce that the long-awaited and anticipated Google TV update has started rolling out to the Revue starting today.

Revue owners have been told to wait for what seems like forever ever since Sony’s Google TV devices were able to be the first to receive the Google TV update. Though now, the Android 3.1 update will soon arrive for Revue owners to pick up and be able to enjoy GTV and all of its Market and app capabilities over the next coming days.

According to Logitech, new customers should be automatically receiving the software update immediately upon their new activation. Still priced at $99, this could also be a great gift to get someone now that this significant update will accounted for.
