Ever since the announcement from Amazon regarding Kindle Fire’s release, the device has been burning hot. And for weeks after its release, the numbers are still going up, and doesn’t seem to be dropping anytime soon.
Evercore Partners analyst Robert Cihra has stated that Amazon is well on their way towards taking over half of the entire Android tablet market by 2012. “Amazon’s success may just vaporize other ‘for profit’ Android tablet OEM roadmaps,” which basically leaves Apple as the only major competition Fire has.
It speaks pretty loud and clear as the Kindle Fire had been the best selling device on Black Friday, and the holiday sales are only getting nearer. Perhaps Fire doesn’t offer as much functionality as other tablets, but hey, it seems just right for some people - excuse me, I meant LOTS of people.
