Just recently, Google confirmed that they are about to begin pushing out an update for their Samsung Galaxy Nexus users. This update is said to be a fix for the volume problem that was recently found that resulted in rapid volume changes for some users.

This fix has already been made available on new stock of the Galaxy Nexus according to Clove in the UK and they commented that Google is also about to push out a fix for devices that sold before the software fix was made available.

The bug is technically related to the 2G antenna Google has claimed to have fixed that can be made with a software and also appears that they are about to prove that with a roll out over the coming week. Exact timings are not known but we understand that all Galaxy Nexus devices will have received the update by next week.
