Hopping onto the previous knowledge that Google was working on their own fiber network to bring ultra fast internet speeds to the world. Kansas City is the lucky location that is in process of trying it out. But it seems as though they might be the first testers of another new venture from Google: cable TV service.

While there’s no confirmation yet on this possible new venture, it does make sense since they’ve recently hired former cable TV executive, Jeremy Stern, who is apparently in talks with various production companies like Walt Disney, Time Warner, and Discovery.
