A bit of disappointment has come to some T-Mobile users and their Samsung Galaxy S II. Now the Super AMOLED Plus display that is used in the phone is suppose to be one of the absolute best that’s available on the market, but imagine the fallen expectations when T-Mobile users are seeing differences on their phone compared to Galaxy S II phones on other carriers.

Some users have reported seeing things like strange lines and blobs appear, not to mention, from the picture, the differences in color reproduction and contrast. It’s not something that has hit every Galaxy S II user on T-Mobile, but it’s not that clear what’s going on.

There’s a chance that it might be hardware-based, though it’s certain that if it’s something in the software, online developers are probably on the case towards a solution. Let’s hope some answers arise soon.

A thread on XDA goes a bit more in-depth at the comparisons between the phones and the carriers here.
