When the Sonalight Text by Voice app debuted a few weeks ago in the Android Market, many were impressed that it offered true, hands-free SMS messaging, as well as, being able to read your incoming messages aloud to you. Something that ends up very handy (and safer) if you’re one whose prone to wanting to check and reply while you’re driving.

But one of the frustrating things about the initial version that users had a complaint about was that it only came with 20 free messages, which isn’t too hard to use up fast. From that, it seems like Sonalight heard the cries and have recently contacted its developers to increase the free message count to…unlimited!

The good news comes alongside other minor bug fixes and enhancements (like a voice indicator and improved recognition) that are included in the latest update.

If you’re interested to try it out, it’s available here in the Android Market for the wonderful price of free.
