With how much love the original Nook Color has been receiving, especially in being able to provide as an e-reader and so much more, it seems like good news that a potential Nook Color 2 is set to come. And according to rumored sources from Barnes & Noble, the sequel model might be announced pretty soon.
There’s been whispers that a successor was coming, though now it seems like a “major announcement from the company” will arrive on November 7. With that, it seems like there’s a good chance that it might be the Nook Color 2.
One of the sources also revealed that detail changes are set to be made in-store, such as a “Nook boutique” - complete with LED TVs, and touchscreen POS systems.
With word that the Kindle Fire from Amazon, aka their main competition, set with their release date for mid-November, it wouldn’t be that surprising that B&N would try to beat them to the market with a new Nook.
