That’s right! Soon your next favorite app might be sporting the high quality sounds of Beats Audio. Especially after HTC has announced that they intend to open up the Beats Audio API for third-party developers to use and build upon within their apps.

With the partnership that HTC and the Beats by Dr. Dre brand have, HTC has invested a lot (up to $300 million), so it’s only logical that they want to use it as much as possible. What better way than to have the apps that would be on their phones enhanced by the Beats Audio experience?

Not to mention the good news this is for developers.
