Though it’s been a while since BlueStacks was first announced, now it has actually arrived and is available for download. In short terms, it’s basically a Windows application that will allow you to run Android apps directly on your computer alongside the useful feature to switch between Windows and Android.

Though the recently released version is only in Alpha form, it does seem to be working out for most people pretty well. The Android app syncer was released as well, which lets you to sync any Android app on your device with the BlueStacks cloud service. When synced, the apps then become available for you to use on your PC.

Check it out in demo form here:

Definitely an interesting concept for a service beyond just a regular app. I could especially see it being handy for those that work between their computer and phone a lot. The syncing feature makes it easy to access and do things on both.
