Today, T-Mobile announced that their Bobsled VoIP service is now available for Android users on both smartphones and tablets.

The service was previously only available for desktop browsers. But now Android users can take part in Bobsled, which allows you to call your Facebook friends for free from your device of choice.

To use it, (instead of dialing) you simply select a Facebook friend and Bobsled will do the rest - whether you want to call them or just send a voice message.

Those who prefer the desktop version will be happy to hear that T-Mobile has updated it to allow free calls to any mobile or landline device in the US and Canada.

Best of all? It’s totally free, available to all carriers, and you can pick it up in your Android Market.
