It was only last Sunday when we told you that the price of the HTC Flyer had been reduced from $499 to $299. Admittedly, I was pretty astonished when I heard. Not even a week after, the price of the 7 inch Android 2.3 tablet has been slashed yet again to just $99 at Best Buy. I’ve been left speechless…

Only via Best Buy is such a deal available, so it seems that only Best Buy has lowered their prices. Although the website indicates that the tablets have been sold out, some local stores may still have some HTC Flyers about.

$99 was already an amazing price for the HP Touchpad, which has a mediocre operating system. Although the HTC Flyer is a smaller tablet, with an Android operating system at the same price, it’s basically a bargain!

Whilst the HTC Flyers were not doing well at first, I’m sure they’d fly off all the shelves like they have from the Best Buy website if prices were such a steal like this!
