October 23rd. Mark that on your calendars since it’s when the quite cute-looking HTC Wildfire S is coming out, according to Virgin Mobile’s recent announcement.

The device is going to be sold in Best Buy and RadioShack starting later this month, for probably a $199.99, that is, without a contract with Virgin Mobile. (obviously). Though, they still give you options for contracts if you are really into getting one. First up is the USA Beyond Talk plans, which involves $35 monthly cost for 300 minutes of voice plus unlimited messaging and such.

Or, the $45 plan may work better for you, with 1,200 minutes of voice. And if neither works, perhaps the $55 plan can help you a little with its unlimited voice.

As mentioned above, the device will be available at Best Buy and Radioshack, but each will be getting a different model, silver and white, respectively. So be sure to shop at the right store if this is your ideal phone.
