Ever since January, Motorola Xoom users had probably been waiting for their 4G upgrade that was supposed to be done “shorty after,” which was said to arrive by the summertime, which had then been postponed to the end of summer, till now.

Though it’s already been almost a year after the debut release.

Starting on the 29th, Xoom owners would and should be receiving emails regarding their 4G upgrades from Motorola and Verizon staff. The upgrade is completely free, but you’d have to send your Xoom tablet in. The company also suggest for backup datas. Better do it than regret afterwards.

All I can say if FINALLY. Not a user personally but this really has been awhile. Even Xoom 2 is born.
