ASUS has recently made an annoucement on their new 7″ tablet with Android 3.2 Honeycomb. And good news is, at least one company is finally breaking the “thinner the better” trend and making some nice and hard and big. (It’s ASUS TOUGH. Anyone surprised?)

The brick tablet seems to be combining the great technologies and the outdoor environments together as its hard shell feature just makes us feel whole a lot safer.

And here goes the specs for ASUS TOUGH ETBW11AA:

- 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor (Nvidia Tegra 2)
- 7” Display with 1280×800 Pixel
- WiMAX connectivity
- 16 GB internal storage
- Water and Dust resistent
- W-fi b/g/n
- Bluetooth
- EVDO Rev.A
- GPS
- mini USB
- microSD
- 5 Megapixel Camera
- 7400 mAh battery

That sure is quite some uniqueness there. Never really liked thin techs personally, but this one sounds pretty great.

Anybody interested?
