As a Nokia user, I know all about Ovi, so this news definitely gave me a shock.
Remember how Nokia announced that it will get rid of Ovi (basically the online services for Nokia) back in May? Well I didn’t believe that, until now, when the logo of Ovi is completely gone at the Ovi Store. Replaced by Nokia’s logo, I’m sure Ovi’s URL and name will change very soon.
I understand Nokia’s intention of making this a gradual change, but at least give us a LITTLE bit more notice beforehand.
Nokia expects Ovi to be gone by the end of 2012…I will definitely miss it.
