According to This is my next, they have apparently picked up a scoop on the next Android OS. Sweetly following the general pattern from Google, Jelly Bean could be the next update we hear about.

Though with the rumor scoop, the Android version number is unknown for now, just like current Ice Cream Sandwich version that is suppose to be arriving soon in October.

Word is that some of the more particular and interesting features that are suppose to come on Ice Cream Sandwich may be postponed onto Jelly Bean - a bit of an expected move, since generally, updates mean something better that wasn’t there before.

But of course, details are hush hush for now. Though I think the name Jelly Bean would fit right in with all the past Android desserts/sugary snacks names, don’t you?
