According to a close source of BGR, Verizon Wireless will not offer the Samsung Galaxy S II but the Samsung Droid Prime instead, as they think the Galaxy S II will not “be competitive with the iPhone 5 when it launches.”
The company will also be exclusively offering the Droid Prime as an exclusive.
The handset, with the model number SCH-i515, is expected to be to launch in October as the first smartphone with Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich.
