App ratings analytics and discovery firm Mobilewalla has revealed their recent data, finding that the Android Market is driven by a number of very active developers.
There are more updates per app than in the Apple’s App Store and 53 percent of the total apps in Android Market are developed by app makers who have created more than 100 apps. As a comparison, developers with more than 100 apps represent 23 percent of all apps in the App Store.
The Android Market is growing fast with the help of these prolific developers. Yet again this might have something to do with those ‘low quality apps,’ copy-cat programs and simple wallpaper apps.
