Froyo, no, not FROZEN YOGURT. Recently, news have been leaking onto the internet about the Samsung Continuum using Google’s mobile operating system, Froyo (a very special update indeed).
This Android was released with Android 2.1 Eclair, but that was the last time we’ve heard any updates on the phone. Now, we know that the ROM for Android 2.2 Froyo is officially coming to the Continuum in a stripped version with extra Verizon bloatware as well.
Yes, most Androids do run on Gingerbread nowadays, and Continuum is a little slow on he action. But maybe we’ll be hearing more updates to the phone soon! Make sure you check up on the XDA-developer forum for more recent news!
