DSLR Controller is a new app available at the Android Market that allows its users to remotely control a DSLR camera. It comes with a live view transmitted from the camera at about 15 fps and it features on-screen controls such as shutter controls, white balance, aperture, exposure compensation, ISO speed, zoom control, and focus.
For now the app only works on Canon EOS DSLRs through USB and no laptop or any other computer is required. It was tested on Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone and Motorola Xoom tablet, as well as the Canon EOS 550D, 50D, 5D mk II, 1D mk IV cameras.
DSLR Controller is currently still in its development phase, but it’s already available for download for US$8.51.
