Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has recently posted their record sales in July, reaching $1.56 billion, which is almost twice the number they hit in July of last year. With this success, the company has also announced their plans to acquire Seattle-based cloud services company Dashwire for $18.5 million.
With this acquisition, HTC will have wider cloud offerings, such as a sync service that allows users to access ‘their important content wherever they are on any device,’ which will be implemented to extend their HTC Sense user interface.
