An account under the name of @MDB228 has recently appeared on social-networking site Twitter, tweeting about the features of an unnamed Android phone, which is assumed to be Motorola’s long-delayed device, the Droid Bionic. The account reveals the form factor of the phone in first person, such as ‘I come to bring change to everything you do. Movies, Word, Shopping it all changes…soon,’ ‘I will be updating faster [than] those around me. I will change. I will adapt. I will not be stopped,’ and a few more tweets.

However, questions arise as to whether or not the account is official as a part of a viral pre-launch campaign, or is it someone leaking information, or simply a hoax. The Twitter account also tweeted on Friday that we were 1,166,400 seconds from launch, which leads the date to August 4th, just like rumored before.

Hoax or not, the release date seems to be even closer now. What do you think?
