Apple has recently filed a second complaint in the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) against Taiwan-based smartphone manufacturer HTC. In case the ITC rules in favor of Apple, there will be a complete stop of sales of the infringing devices in the U.S, such as the Droid Incredible, Wildfire, Flyer tablet, and many more.

The complaint involves five Apple patents, three of them have already been asserted in their complaint against Samsung, such as patents on ‘application programming interfaces for scrolling operations,’ ‘list scrolling and document translation, scaling, and rotation on a touch-screen display,’ and a ‘double-sided touch-sensitive panel with shield and drive combined layer.’

The other two patents are about ‘programmable tactile touch screen displays and man-machine interfaces for improved vehicle instrumentation and telematics’ and ‘portable computers.’
