Looks like ASUS will be having some competition in the sliding tablet department. A little bird has told DigiTime that Acer hopes to release its own sliding Android tablet by the time the holiday season rolls around. Rumor has it the tablet will be 10.1-inch long with a QWERTY keyboard behind the screen. And it seems like it will be manufactured by Compal, but that’s all there is information-wise. Hopefully, it will come out when “Ice Cream Sandwich” debuts.
